Instructional Services
Under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent Carol McLean, the Department of Instruction provides a wide range of services in support of student learning and well-being. Working within the Department are the Office of Child Welfare, Health Services, Child Development Programs, Assessment and Research, the district’s Media Center, and Records. The Department offers teachers direct assistance through district-wide professional development programs, personalized instructional support, and opportunities for professional growth through its Lead Teacher programs.
