2025-2026 District Calendar: Holidays, Student Free & Enrichment Days
The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year is Thursday, August 14, 2025.
- Thanksgiving Break is from Monday, November 24 through Friday, November 28
- Winter Break is from Monday, December 22 through Friday, January 2
- Spring Break is from Friday, April 3 through Friday, April 10
We are excited to announce that in the 2025-2026 school year, we are bringing back our Enrichment Days! We will have three (3) Enrichment Days - these days give us the flexibility to rethink how we approach school with our students and families. We believe students learn best if we can provide them with experiences, and these Enrichment Days will continue to reshape how we approach the student experience at EMCSD. The three Enrichment Fridays are:
- November 10, 2025
- March 13, 2026
- May 22, 2026
Student attendance is optional on the three (3) Enrichment Fridays listed above. Our schools will be open on these days and programming will be designed to engage students beyond traditional learning. More information about programming on these days will be provided during the school year.
