El Monte Swims (2nd Grade Swimming Program)

 

We are dedicated to equipping every 2nd grader with an essential life skill: swimming. In collaboration with the city of El Monte, we provide comprehensive swimming lessons to ensure students not only enjoy the water but also stay safe. With drowning being the second leading cause of death or injury to children aged 5-14, these lessons are invaluable in promoting water safety awareness. Join us in empowering our students to navigate the water with confidence, giving them skills that last a lifetime.

 

Swim lessons are offered to all 2nd graders districtwide - with classes spread throughout the school year. At the end of the lessons, students are able to have a free swim session and utilize the city's waterslide.
