Fiscal Services (Accounting, Benefits, Payroll)

The Fiscal Services Department, within the Business Services Division, is composed of the Accounting unit and the Payroll & Benefits unit. The Fiscal Services team is responsible for receiving, disbursing, accounting for, and safeguarding District resources to support the instructional and operational needs of the El Monte City School District. Through timely processing of financial transactions, accurate payroll and benefits administration, and responsive fiscal support, the department ensures that schools have the resources needed for day-to-day operations and that staff are paid accurately and on time. The Fiscal Services team plays a critical role in advancing the District’s mission and strategic goals by supporting student achievement—one transaction at a time.
