Lego Robotics
El Monte City School District is proud to have a robust Lego Machines, Mechanisms and Robotics program. Students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade have the opportunity to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics as robotics are integrated into their everyday curriculum. By providing engaging, hands-on experiences students will develop skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, communication and creativity that will help to prepare them for their futures.
Our district is also proud of our growing Lego Robotics competitive teams. Teams are comprised of students throughout the district who come together to compete in local competitions designed for students to be able to display their knowledge of the basics of STEM and to apply their skills in exciting new ways.
