More Nutrition Education Coming to EMCSD Schools

El Monte City School District (EMCSD) expands its Fresh Fruits & Vegetables programs to seven schools, providing additional nutrition education opportunities to more students across the district. This is all possible through a grant EMCSD received as part of the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) national Fresh Fruit and Vegetables program. Read full story!

Come out to the Jeff Seymour Family Center for a Clothes Swap on Thursday, September 18th and Friday, September 19th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to participate in our free clothes swap!

You do not need to bring clothes to participate. IF you do decide to donate, please only donate up to 10 lightly used items. No underwear or socks (unless new). Thank you!

Victor Williams, Teacher of the Year

Great teachers are those we remember years from now when we look back and think, I'm here because they believed in me. For El Monte City School District (EMCSD), Victor Williams is that teacher; he has made his mark not only in the hearts of his students but also among his colleagues. Recently named EMCSD’s 2025 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Williams’ contributions to the community are innumerable.
