2024-2025 EMCSD School Calendar
Good afternoon EMCSD Families,
I am thrilled to share our 2024-2025 School Calendar with you all! We pride ourselves on providing the best services and accommodations for our students, staff, and families. This involves creative thinking to provide unique educational experiences for our students.
The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is Thursday, August 15, 2024.
- Thanksgiving Break is from Monday, November 25 through Friday, November 29
- Winter Break is from Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3
- Spring Break is from Friday, April 18 through Friday, April 25
I am excited to announce that in the 2024-2025 school year, we are introducing six (6) Enrichment Fridays. Enrichment Fridays give us the flexibility to rethink how we approach school with our students and families. We believe students learn best if we can provide them with experiences, and these Enrichment Fridays will reshape how we approach the student experience at EMCSD. The six Enrichment Fridays are:
- November 1, 2024
- January 31, 2025
- March 14, 2025
- March 28, 2025
- April 11, 2025
- May 23, 2025
Student attendance is optional on the six (6) Enrichment Fridays listed above. Our schools will be open on these days and programming will be designed to engage students beyond traditional learning. More information about programming on these days will be provided during the next school year.
