Did you know you can get a FREE LA County Library card that you can use at the local El Monte Library?
It's quick and easy, and having an LA County Library Card opens you up to a world of resources and all the books you need to fulfill your imagination! Below are the steps you can take to sign up for a FREE digital library card.
You can always visit your local library and apply for a card. For El Monte, simply visit:

Hours:
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 12pm - 8pm
- Thursday - Saturday: 10am - 6pm
- Sunday & Monday: CLOSED
Step 2: Hover over "Get a Library Card" and click "Digital Library Card"
Step 4: Verify Address.
Step 5: Once address is verified, you can complete application and click "Register". Check email for digital card and pin number.
Access Online Tutoring via LA County
LA County Library is offering FREE tutoring through Brainfuse for all LA County Library Card holders. Get access to free online workshops for your students. Library Card is required to access. Need a card? Refer to "Easy Steps to Get a Library Card" instructions above. To access Brainfuse, follow these steps:
Step 2: Click "Digital Library"
Step 3: Click "Brainfuse"
Step 4: Enter Library Card # & Your Pin
Step 5: Click on "Live Tutoring"
Step 6: Select grade level & subject
Step 7: Type questions in chat & tutor will provide assistance. You may also use the whiteboard space to draw if that helps.
