Opportunity Program

The Opportunity Program is a temporary alternative education placement for high-risk 1st-8th grade students. The goal is to help students improve on and maintain proper social/ behavioral skills needed for academic success. Students benefit from a small classroom environment while they complete the Boys Town Social Skills program. Participants monitor their own progress daily, working conscientiously through 3 levels: Daily, Progress, and Merit.

Additionally, the program provides interpersonal growth opportunities. While enrolled, students participate in individual counseling, group sessions and meaningful workshops. This holistic approach ensures that students feel supported both in and out of the classroom.
