Before & After School
El Monte City School District offers districtwide before and after-school enrichment opportunities for all TK through 8th grade students, providing engaging activities for students that include sports and STEAM-based programming. All EMCSD students are eligible for our enrichment programming at no-cost to families.
Before-school programming can start as early as 7:00am, so parents and guardians can drop off their students with ample time to get to work.
After-school programming operates until 6:00 p.m., giving parents and guardians plenty of time to pick up their students after work.
EMCSD students enrolled in our Before & After School Enrichment have the opportunity to:
- Receive tutoring to stay up-to-date with their educational goals.
- Engage in STEAM activities in order to help them cultivate interests across science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
- Participate in physical and sports activities to promote healthy growth and teamwork
Students also receive snacks and supper as part of our after-school programming, ensuring they all receive the necessary nutritious meals they need to succeed.
